Google Login Details Not Working On All Google Services?

I was told about Google's Webmaster Tools today and decided to check them out. On the page it said to enter my Google Account so I assumed this was the same as the one I use to login to both Blogger.com and Google Adsense.

Well no it isn't because I keep getting "Username and password do not match." Well they do match and it works because I have just checked my Adsense account.

How come they are not being recognised if this Google account thing is meant to work for all Google's services?

Thats a good question!

You should contact them with this situation, or just create a new seperate account for your Webmasters Central, the choice is yours. :)

This happened before when I wanted to create a blog on Blogger, I asked at the Google help forum thingy but never got a reply.

I think I'll just create another account for the webmaster tools.
