I swear I can't figure this out, but I have 3 pages right now that are in the top 3 SERP's for their respective keywords, however, today they'll show in the top 3, tomorrow they'll be gone, the next day they're back, then they're gone. Any ideas for the fluctuation? Should I have Google crawl the site less? Does anyone else have this trend with their pages?

Yes, this very same thing has been going on with one of my sites for the last 2 months. I rank on pages 1 and 2 for about 20 of my keywords for a few days and then poof ...my site is gone. Then the site shows back up anywhere from 2-5 days later back in the index with the same high rankings for those keywords. At first I thought my server may have been down when Google was crawling the site but it is happening too frequently for that to be the problem and plus I have been monitoring my servers for the last 3 weeks and I have had 100% uptime every day. This problem really has me upset because the website in question generates a lot of money for me and since this problem started my income has obviously went to pot. If anyone knows what the hell is going on please shed some light!!!

I believe that G is intentionally rotating between at least two and maybe three different sets of data. Recently, for about 8 weeks, I saw the rotation twice a day. Now it seems to be every other day.
So, I suspect that for some reason, your pages are simply not in one of the data sets, or they are much farther down in SERPs for one of those sets.

This is because of the datacenters having different information, they are completely updated and are displaying different results. Try using a proxy to use google and you'll see different results as well. Not everyone sees the excat same SERPs.

Exactly....I only have 2 sites that are doing it, but they make me $5.00 a day or so per site, so every day that it's not on the first page...my daily take is lower.
