Hi
1) How much would you pay to get link back from .edu and .gove?
2) How much average price you see online to get link back from .edu or .gov?
I have seen one time from .edu and it was $50 for per year and never see by .gov
what about you, please suggest and answer. Thanks you all in advance.

I wouldnt bother. They are pointless and its quite a myth that they boost PR etc.
Unless the link is from a related site - about directories or whatever, dont bother.
Dont buy links, you dont wanna end up penalised...

Agree with Mikey, there is nothing special about .edu or .gov links and they are not worth a penny unless related to your niche and even then I wouldn't buy it.

Buying .edu or .gov links are a complete waste of money. You can do a quick research and get those links for free + I personally don't think they are any special either.

Yes, I think spending money on .edu and .gov is purely wasting of money as well as time.

Never bothered getting them in the first place but if they are related to your niche I think there can be a boost of traffic.

i pay nothing as i can get them for free. all the people sell edu or gov links sell them on student blogs or some forums where anyone can add links any wats. some sell blogposts on edu sites but they don't offer any more benefit than a regulst link. so i my self don't even bother

Exactly! I say spend your energy on getting any relevant link you can. To me relevance is the #1 factor, not PR or tld.

.com's links are the best backlinks ... gov & edu links are pointless unless they are related with ur content.
Once i tried .us link, actually i bought some links (i was new in seo), those never came search engine results. So don't do the same mistake.

1) ok, let us guess if you pay how much maximum would you pay if there is directory under any www......anysite....edu/directory
2) would you like to pay yearly or one time fee?
Reason i am asking becasuse one my friends relative is dean in colloge and if they want to make directory as example domain, would you answer for above number 1) and 2)
I would like to thanks for answer of above both questions.

Hmm, I think you can get edu links really easily. GOV though is harder to come accross, but possible with some research :D (dnt ask me). Why pay for something you can get for free?

I wouldn't pay a dime for either of them. Sorry, that's the truth. The fact that there are so many for sale should dispel any myths about their value.
