Traffic for a small new website

Hi....

I am building a new website:

Being new is hard, and I would like to know how to create more traffic so I could build a good client base...

The first question is always about traffic... but it is a new site !

Any pozitive suggestion is welcome !

- Participate in forum with your site url in the signature.
- Apply Google Adwords to have targeted client.
- Participate in SEO
- Buying ads in some famous sites or forums

The above are the basic things you may do 1st

Submit sites to major directories.
Write articles and submit them to newsletter which are archived onlin
Get listed in business directories
Start Google Adwords
Try to Joint venture other well ranked and your related websites.
