Your first post is engaging and I think it meets the purpose from About page. I would spent some time and customize the site. Maybe even remove the stock links from your Blogroll and replace them with reciprocal links from other Bloggers .

My Thoughts

Logo
Needs work. I can see it is an image pasted in with the text entered on top. I think a quality logo would do you justice.

Header
I don't care for the big orange button... i think its good to advertise.... but your site needs advertisement more than the big button

Font
Excellent and easy to read font.

Navigation
I think it is important to have a home and contact button ..... and pages.... Maybe its me... but I like to know how to navigate easily back to where I started...

SEO
Needs some work.

Content
