I seriously doubt that you'll make more than 6$ with YPN, but it's a good thing you test it. Please keep us posted, who knows, maybe in this niche, Yahoo pays better than Adsense.

thanks for your advice and I will post the result weekly. It takes a while for YPN to march the content of my site. It is getting better from what I've seen so far. :D

It took Yahoo a much longer time to get contextual ads for my site than Google did as well.

First day of testing, 2clicks!
and revenue 21cents.
Maybe that happens because the ads is not relevancy well enough. I will keep testing it for next 3 days and keep post up the result. I might change back to absense if the pay per click keep up like this.:o
we'll see.

As far as ad placement, I always try to get at least one ad block on the page that is in the same column as the content. Your content is in the middle of the page, so you should have one ad block somewhere in the middle, and the higher up on the page the better. You site looks fantastic, and your design really fits your topic well, but I think if I were viewing that site for the first time I would just read right down the middle of the page and probably not see what is on the right and left. I guess it's a matter of there being too clear of a line between what is content (your posts) and what is navigation/ads.

What made you switch anyway? You cant go by the first day, or even week of placements and keywords with YPN... you have to let it optimize. Ive always had more success with google, but others differ.
Keep playing around with yahoo, as you have already made the switch. My suggestion next time... When making $6 on adsense, find ways to optimize that... color changes, plus or minus border, etc.
Good Luck.

You are right. but now I can't stand with YPN duplicable ads. And the format and style look so ugly. I got 15cents per click averagely. And I really need to wait for YPN to improve before jump in again. I have $2+(50% of the click I have)per clicks with google adsense. adsense really pays me better. see you around YPN.

I just tested it for 2 days maybe it get longer and ads would be more relevancy however , the style and the format of YNP keep me away. It looks not as good as adsense. It is the reason. I want to keep my site "look good"
and adsense pays me not bad at all.:D
lowest click 40cents
