How to build more traffic to your website?

I'm still new to this, but how can i build more traffic to my website effectively??

any suggestions?

A cheap/free way is to rank highly in organic search. You could also buy pay per click advertising like Adwords. Another way is to buy advertising on high traffic sites that are in your subject area.

Also, lots of people on forums use signature links to advertise their sites. This is something you can start with right away.

There are literally thousands of post on these forums about increase traffic to your site. Search the forums before you start a new thread next time.

Anyway, if it is a new site, don't expect tons of traffic right away. You will need to build yourself up first. Start building up your backlinks, and begin writing a blog. Submit every blog article to social bookmarking site. If you write good content, you will get traffic before you know it.

your main forcus for the first 6-8 month should be to post new content atleast 5 times a week.

then when you have a post you REALLY think is good, you should try to use it as linkbaiting, by submitting it to social bookmarking/media sites.
