Remote Windows XP Desktops!

Hello!

I'm selling remote Windows XP Desktops. They include Windows XP, and the Microsoft Office suite. Basically, you can use Remote Desktop and log into this pc from anywhere that has an internet connection as long as they allow connections through remote desktops. If you go into an internet cafe, you can use their PC to login to your desktop, and all of the files stay on your desktop. You'll have full administrator access, and so you can install any software that you like. Also, the remote pc has an internet connection, so you can download software to it.

Bronze Package contains 4GB of diskspace and 96MB of RAM - $25 Per Month
Silver Package contains 10GB of diskspace and 128MB of RAM - $35 Per Month
Gold Package contains 20GB of diskspace and 256MB of RAM - $50 Per Month

XP wouldn't even boot with 96MB RAM, how do you expect people to run Office.....

Actually yes it can boot with 96. Actually it could even boot with 64. The memory is burstable as well, so you can go past those as long as the memory isn't in use. If people need more memory, then I will give it to them.

The connection speed is 100mbps, and the location is in Charlotte, NC.

Yes, you can pretty much do anything. You have full admin rights. There are some things that can't be run over a remote desktop connection, like playing 3D games, but other than that you can do just about anything.

The above packages are basically VPS's and you can create more users and such. Your account and your users can be logged in concurrently, so it can be sort of a reseller account if you choose to use it in that fashion. We now have packages just for users, and it's only $6.99 per month. You'll have your own desktop, but you have to share all diskspace with other users. Your documents will be hidden from other users unless you put them in a folder that is shared by all users. All of your folders will be made private to the other users. For the $6.99 package you're not allowed to install software at will, you must seek approval from us first. On the VPS packages above, you can resell user space, and you can install and do just about whatever you want. On the user packages, they are not as flexible. You would put on a powerful server and all resources will be shared between the users.

We don't have any specials currently on this, and so those are the prices. We no longer offer user packages, but rather full private desktops.

Yes, it's a real computer, it's just accessed using the built in Remote Desktop capability that Windows provides. You can surf the web, install software, install yahoo or any programs and message people through it.

Yes, they are fully licensed Windows XP Pro installations. You can browse, etc. No, I apologize, but there are no demos. It takes two hours or so to get it setup and demos would be tedious. However, I can offer a 48 hour moneyback guarantee. The internet speed is highly powerful, but we do limit it per VPS. The internet speed is comparable to a cable modem for each VPS.

These are real pcs, you're just accessing them remotely using an RDP client. If you have Windows XP, it's built-in, or if you have another version of Windows, you can download the client from Microsoft. Also, there are several other applications that allow you to connect to pcs over the RDP protocol.

We also offer a special service with these remote desktops. When you create documents or download files, if you would like to have them burned to a cd or DVD, we can do that and mail you the disk. Most of our clients use these desktops to have access to their programs and documents from anywhere, and every now and then they like to have a backup sent to them. The cost is $5 which includes the disk/dvd, burning, and shipping of the disk.

Also, once the two demo users give a review, we'll be looking for suggestions. Like what do you want to see in these? Any new features?

All of it is owned. We own Windows XP licenses, Office 2003 licenses, VMware ESX Enterprise licenses. You can't just "find" this service and start selling it. There's a lot of technology and equipment required to back this.

We've changed our RAM amounts that come with each package. We've increased them to 192 for the bronze package, 256 for the silver package, and 384 for the gold package. Some of the users were interested in running AIM and Yahoo and a few other programs and their wasn't quite enough memory to go around, so we've increased them all.

Sorry for the big delay in this demo review. The remote desktop service that Hycari is offering is extremely fast. When creating new files there was no delay/lag. I found the keyboard to type properly with no lag in display of letters. Not only was the service excellent, the customer support was to. During this trial period only (I took a “review/demo”) Hycari offered to setup/install a number of programs to try and help me get the best use out of his service. Over all I’d recommend this service to any one looking for a fast reliable remote desktop.

I really liked the service.....really useful if u have some use for it....
though i had some lags coz i am from india but speeds were pretty good too
i could download on it at 400KBps which is close to 3.2 Mbit/s
