yahoo indexing www. and non www

I decided to do a 301 redirect in my .thacess file 2 months ago
to make the www.mysite.com version of my site go to mysite.com

and now google has as non www indexed

but yahoo is showing both and they are both current versions and both in the rankinings


anyone know how to remove www.mysite.com ??

Same thing happened to me. It takes longer than 2 months but Yahoo will get it right. Patience is the key.

I had the same issue months ago - Really I was never able to resolve it - Stupid yahoo - How can they index something that isn't really there..... It all seemsed to occur around the same time they had an change in Algo to take out affiliate sites. What I did in the end was removed the 301 redirect. Still hasnt helped with the double indexing of www. and non-www but this seems to only occur for the homepage.

you can do nothing about that, and should wait for it to get dropped by yahoo...
