I don't believe people send invites, only Google itself.

What you need to do now is sign up for Analytics waiting list and Google will email you the code soon, it took 1 month for me...

A month !? I've been waiting for longer than that now. I wonder how the early users got in so fast. I consider myself to be pretty well up-to-date, but I still missed the first opportunity. Only found out about it after Google had been overwhelmed and started putting people on the wait list. That first crowd must have been watching the same blog or something that I missed.

I was under the impression that they stopped new user signups in their tracks early on due to an over abundance of demand. Not sure if this is still the case. Got in early and love it. I do not really get much more out of it than I do just using report magic and analog, but it is nice!

Yea, I'm waiting over 1month. Nothing happens. I think they do not give "keys" now. They will upgrade the service/get feedback and after they will send more keys...

From my experience, I believe that applying from a gmail.com address helps but it might be a coincidence!
Basically, I applied for myself using 2 addresses, and one for my father friend business on the same day. I waited some weeks and nothing...
*I had a job interview with them in London, they told me that a new bunch of invitations were going to be sent out in a close future.*
It proved to be true as one week later, I received within a 20 min interval an invitation on my Adwords/Adsense email address and the one on my Friend's father Gmail account. I got the last one something like one month later.
I believe that using your Adsense/Adwords email address or a gmail address helps based my experience, but it may have been a pure coincidence. If anyone else had a similar experience, I'd love to hear the story.
Either it will demonstrate that I received the invitation based on a random selection or that using a gmail address may indeed help!
Just my 2 cents,
Cheers,
Ludo

Hello Everyone,
How come I missed this? Oh my God! I had seen this long back, and it kinda slipped off my head and I'm late! Well, I hope I might get it, if not now... I can wait. And yes, whats the big deal about it? Whats in it? I would really love to know.
Thanks.

It's just Urchin rebranded as Google. It's cool because Urchin used to cost a lot of money to purchase a single site license, and now it's free, if you're willing to wait for it.

Oh! Thanks Mr. Grossman. Well, I'd rather check W3Counter, should be some good.

I have been using Google Analytics for a while and it really rocks. I hadn't used Urchin, because it's always been expensive but if Analytics is just a copy, Urchin really rocks :)
Too bad I can't add more than 1 site :(

Urchin on Demand is indeed good but I am disapointed that it is not providing stats in Real-time as other Web analytics tools do. I have to use both Statcounter and Urchin-on-Demand to get all the data I need.

Well, I'd suggest you guys using the free W3Counter (http://www.w3counter.com/) which I was introduced by Dan, and it really rocks! I wouldn't know about Google Analytics as I haven't used it, and if its going to be just 1 site, then I guess its a bit narrow. I guess almost 95% of us own more than 1 site. Probably its to prioritize the 1 site. Maybe, lol.
Anyway - Cheers!

You are able to monitor 5 sites right now thanks to a Google Analytics account as they are limiting the number of profile per account.
They are likely to increase the number of accounts that you can monitor per account, but we cannot forecast when.

Oh! I didn't know, that just word-of-mouth lead to my assumption. If its 5 sites, then I can't wait to get my Google Analytics account. Hopes and prayers.
Thanks Coume, for the information there. Good day!

I've applied at 3 different email addresses. 1 recieved one invite after 1 week, the latest invite was sent 2 days after application, and one of them still no invite.
For people still waiting you could try applying again with another email address?
