I want to create a shopping cart for downloadable/digital products (such as eBooks etc). I don't want to download or buy such a script because I want to know exactly how it's working and learn by creating it. So does anyone know where there is such a tutorial?

Anything a bit more simple? Forgive me if I'm being a little naive, but I'm probably after the most basic version of a "Digital Dilevering Shopping Cart" you can imagine.
