CJ Affiliate Program problems

Hey Guys, I just joined in CJ pgoram to be able to participage in Ebay affiliate scheme.

But when I apply for it, I got a Declined Application status, automatically.

I tried other services as well. But got the same message.

Do you know why this thing happens?

Are you in the US? Maybe they don't allow affiliates outside the US or from certain countries.

Ah, you are right. I am from Iran and my country is under the US trade embargo. (Although I used my friend address who is in UAE, but it seems the underestand it from my IP).
I did not know that Ebay is only for the US and a few countries.

I think they judge according to your postal address. I have also websites residing in Canada - so it's not through your IP address.

But on the other hand I'm from Slovakia and the US are :) friendly to us, at least in some ways...

Some merchants on CJ don't allow affiliates outside of the US, UK, Canada, Australia. Examples are Ebay, Yahoo, CompUSA, Philips, to name a few.

And I thought the interenet was a global community :(
