I have been dealing with affiliate links for quite some time now and each affiliate has a length that your referal cookies good for. Ive never paid any mind to this but today I was thinking "How does the cookie actually work?" Someone clicks on your referal link and I presume when they get to the site a cookie is stored with your refid with a set time to last. But how exactly does the affiliate store and retrieve the cookie?
