Hi,

I ordered a website header, footer and matching background for my new site and received the template files. The thing is I don't know how to upload graphics to my website. I tried opening the .psd files but Winzip says it is not properly configured to load this type of file.

Could someone tell me how to upload those graphics to my website?

Thanks in advance,

To open psd files you need photoshop. What you probably received it a mock-up of the design and it will be up to you to slice it and place the slices at the right place within your html.

I would contact your designer for him to explain all that's required to you.

yup .psd is opened by photoshop and you'll need to have the template sliced up, and possibly coded if its more than just a header footer and background

Sounds like you aren't to keen on slicing and coding yourself. You might want to try a slicing service, who will cut up your .psd and send you the html/css/images.

Or if you have photoshop you might want to try teh sitegrinder plugin for creating html

Disclaimer: I've never used these services or plugin so cant vouch for them. Good luck!

I suggest you contact your designer, then tell him to slice and convert the .psd file into a different file format such as jpeg.
