Thinking of setting up a family website using WordPress, anyways would like a way to display family pictures in a gallery ON the website, if that makes sense.

Any way to do this in WordPress? Something similar to http://forums.digitalpoint.com/gallery/

"nextgen-gallery" is a very useful one. I haven't tried it yet but so far is the most complete I've seen around.

For photos... I like gallery2. And if you want to run a gallery from wordpress... I would have to recommend:

It's worthwhile pointing out that you'll need a server with some beef to get Gallery2 to run at a reasonable pace. You need fast MySQLing. It's a nice gallery system though, with all the mods and SEO you could want.
