I have been facing a couple of problems.
First of all, last week a strange thing happened. I got more clicks than my page impressions. And now today i got some clicks but no earnings for those clicks. Has someone faced this sort of thing or someone knows about this. Please reply.
Is this due to invalid clicks. If yes then what can i do about this.

More clicks then page impressions? Thats something I'd be worried about.
In answer to your question, you are getting invalid clicks, at least it seems like.
You should contact Google when you get more clicks then page impressions, do not wait for no reason!
I suggest you get some sort of protection from invalid clicks, or atleast a click logging software.

Try ClickAider (http://clickaider.com), AsRep (http://www.asrep.com), Click Lock (http://www.tradebit.com/filedetail.php/1594994)....

I can't believe you guys use adsense without click logging software... :)

Click loggers, as their name says it, log click on your ads, and in this case, Adsense ads.
It shows what IP clicked on your ad...

Adlogger is R.I.P. not in compliance with Google TOS anymore....

If you use paid webhosting with MySql databases, the best thing would be that you get AsRep and Click Lock which will hide the Adsense ads after a user clicks on them number of times you specify, but if you are on a free host writing a blog, clickaider will also do just fine.

invalid clicks have been automatically filtered by google. when u get $0 for clicks . u can term them as invalid clicks

Of course, google has it's own invalid click filtering algorithms, but they are far from being perfect and most important, reliable...
