Looking for some feedback on my new Music Portal

I am in the process of launching a network of directory based portals that are intended to be a lot more than just a collection of links. I am thinking of adding a forum to this portal once traffic is built up a bit. Looking for opinions and any ideas for improvment.

very nice layout, i would suggest some more jazzy logo and banner according to the nature of site

thanks netplanet, the logo came with the template and it is a little on the boring side. I will probably have a contest in the design section when I have a few extra bucks.

agree wit netplanet, not sure of the icons next 2 the links. think theyre supposed to be cd's but is difficult 2 make out.

Thanks clouting, yes they are supposed to be cd's. I am not stuck on those icons but they were the best I had at the time. I guess down-the-road I might consider getting a little custom created or maybe I can find a better free one.

Overall site is nice but I might confess that yellow color is too much IMAO it's make pressure on me , you need change your icons (CD) for sure they are not looking professional, I've uploaded some icons for you on my site - http://www.xxximages.info/cdicons.rar , try them maybe they will suite better
