Hi,

I have developed this website for somebody and I said I would do it for free but they wish to pay me.

I just wondered how much it would be worth?


Archways Care (http://www.archwayscare.com/index.php)

It is CSS / XHTML and has incorporated google maps API into the find us page.

It has 2 online mailforms where 1 is quite complex.

Are they a charity or not for profit organisation?

You said you would do it for free, you have advertising at the bottom of every page so personally I would say that you shouldnt ask for an amount, if they want to pay then either take what ever they offer or ask that they donate it to charity or such

Oh I am not going to take the money.

It is a private company I think.

I was just curious how much it was worth.

Wow, that's terrible quality for the price.

Anyway, nickharper, since you started out doing it for free they might get a huge shock if you said $1000 but they would probably be happy to pay $100. I think it's worth $200.

Based on my 5 years experience,I would do it for $500.

Are you a company or freelancer?

If you are a company then you would probably be looking at £750 ish subject to how many concepts/ revisions you gave, who owns the copyright, if SEO on the copy was done (and who provided the copy), the warranty period, if hosting is included or not, if logo design was included or not, if the footer link is compulsory or could be removed by the client etc

It depends how it's all done.

Is it a static site? Or dynamic?

If it's static I'd say about £300-400
If it's dynamic I'd say about £800-1200
