I'm sure this is discussed many places, and this may not be the right spot, but how do you decide the right price to pay for a link or sponsorship/advertising spot via link?
I know PR usually drives this along with traffic, but now that PR is having...um, problems...how do you estimate the right price range?
- Are inline links more valuable than "sponsorship" or lists? (linked keywords within article or content on a site)
- Is it worth more to be the only link on a page?
- If a site is a PR0 still due to the missing update, do you pay based on what it "should" become or what the rest of the site has been doing traffic wise?
- What is a good rule of thumb for paying for links?
Thanks everyone, and if this is the wrong section, let me know. I didn't want to post it in the Link Sales since I'm not actually buying or selling anything (at the moment)...
Thanks!
Rebecca
