Thanks for the rep for sex :D
Guys, some help here.
I have unlimited domain addons with DreamHost and thus don't want to pay for more hosting. Could anyone help me find out how I can transfer a domain from someone cheap (ie Godaddy w/ .info for $1.19 or anywhere else with similar prices) to DreamHost and/or how much it would cost?
Thanks :)

The current cheapest .Info's around are from Domain.com @ $1.03 using the coupon code "bargaincat.com", there was already a thread somewhere here on it last week, I hope that helps.

How on earth does it take you an hour to register a domain? It takes me 2 minutes.

Even by godaddys lengthy reg times that seems extremely slow, godaddy are slow but not that slow lol.
I'm sure theres a reason for it

I signed up with Godaddy for an LLLL.com today, it was alright but they ask you to fill in way too many things as well as about purchasing 1000x addons.
The purchase using Domain.com took about a quarter of the time. :)

Don't you care about the domains price next year when you will need to renew them? :\

@BuildHome
It gives you 1 solid year to decide whether you want to renew it or not! People use .info mainly for Adsense / PPC, if the domain makes good profit then renewal fee of 7.99 / 8.99 is not a big issue

Yeah I just checked it, I will get 0.91 cause I am registring 100 domains for a client. Sounds like a great deal for people like us...

So how much is the actual price of .info? I mean, when it's not on sale? I got mine when it was $0.99 (on sale) through godaddy.com.

Probably it will be 7.99 or 8.99

Use this coupon in godaddy: 99info
It should give you the .info domain including icann fees at about 1.19$

You sure this code works cause I have just tried it without much success!
Can anyone confirm if 99info is still active?

99info is still active (I used it yesterday) but if you want a cheaper one use the code bargaincat.com at www.domain.com, give you .info at $1.03
Hope that helps :)

GoDaddy one is working fine. Sounds like a better deal!
And yeah even domain.com adds .20 so it takes them to 1.11 and I am getting them with GD @ 1.21 so GD is better deal since I have almost 500 names with them now.
Thanks for the help guys!

Godaddy is such a big company, if there was a ever a crisis there, the site would overload with people trying to move their domains.

!
that is false information, Domain.com don't add anything, what you see is what you pay ($1.03 with coupon) and lower with the more you buy. In fact it is Godaddy who advertise the domain as only $.99 but they actually add ICANN fees of 22c which takes them up to $1.21. So Domain.com is by far much cheaper, especially as you buy more.

Yep, Domain.com never added anything for me :)
