Dude, you might have mistaken. They might have provided you the TPO reference number. Provide that number to bank where you have the account. Sometimes the bank requires additional confirmation. Please read the XOOM mail carefully. They are legit. I got my payment yesterday night and the deposit is made on 28th afternoon. Your deposit is on 29th. So I think you will get the money into your account by today night or by tomorrow morning. Do take time to read the e-mail sent by XOOM.

You might have received a mail like this

Dear XXX,

Your payment has been processed and we have transferred your transaction to our partner for deposit.

Many bank transfers in India are processed electronically. In other cases, however, they are processed via a bank-to-bank check called a TPO that is dispatched (delivered) via courier.

A TPO is normally delivered to the recipient's bank branch within 3 to 5 working days. It is at this time that you receive this email stating that the transaction has been completed. However, the recipient's bank may have further rules and restrictions which may add several days until the funds reflect on the account.

If your transaction was processed using a TPO, the number appears below.
Please provide it to your recipient so that they may track the status of the deposit directly with their bank.

TPO Reference number: xxxxxxx

Let us know what you think! Take a moment to
fill out our customer satisfaction survey at:
http://www.xoom.com/satisfactionsurvey?co=IN&xfer=X-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx&com=n

The words in bold vary according to the transaction. Don't worry. Your money will be safe

Xoom are a reliable source for funds transfer. i have never heard anything like such about them. I think you should wait for 48 hours more and stay in touch with your bank.

BUT NO MONEY IN BANK

Don't worry at all. You'll get your money for sure. No need to panic. It must be some delay from your bank. Check it with them.

He initiated his transaction as on 29th (saturday) after 2 pm and saturday, sunday are holidays thats why they processed it on monday and sent request to his bank on monday or tuesday IMO. Sure funds already credited in his bank account by now.

And all let us not forget.....October 2 was also a Bank holiday...

I did the transcation for the first time for just 25$. I got a message just like you. Everthing almost same including the time of transcation matches yours.

I casually checked with my Bank and the manager known to me said the money has arrived, however it will take couple of days more to be in your account.

If there are no electronic banking system in your bank just like mines.. expect atleast 7 - 10 days.. But better to check with your Bank with the TPO number

So just dont worry.. your money is safe.... Cheer UP...

What's the status now? You should have got the money by now. If not, contact your bank and provide the TPO number to them.
