I need a logo and a "seal"

The logo should be a unique (but readable) font with effects...no graphics.

This is an example of a seal http://www.organicapex.com/imgs/satisfaction.gif

The logo and seal should be similar in style...as they will be on the same page.

The text for the logo should be

"Greener Business Bureau" with subtext "conscious consumer assurance"

Main color of both should be green...with 1-3 contrasting but complimentary colors.

The seal should have the words "Greener Business Bureau" and should say "CERTIFIED GREEN" and should include a check mark, and if possible the sub text "conscious consumer assurance"

This contest will end as soon as I find what I'm looking for...and there will be a $10 bonus for a total of $30 if you are chosen as the winner by 10/03/07

I'm not sure where you want another color so I tried on the text. For the small seal the only way for the text"conscious consumer assurance" to be legibly is to be almost all over the circle (around it).

neme same problem with mine cant get the conscious consumer assurance legitable at smaller size

Thank you all for your entries...now on to the comments:

Dangys: all the elements are too small for the large circle/seal shape....leaving the text difficult to read. The letters need to be bigger and more space between them. The text & check should be proportionate (fill more empty space) to the size of the seal. I don't know that it looks cartoonish but it should be professional looking rather than cartoonish.

neme12: This is close to what I am looking for. The letters for "conscious consumer awareness" should be stretched vertically to fit the space better and be more centered. I would like to see the words "Greener Business Bureau" in the top of the circle (the same circle as "conscious consumer awareness" but on the top instead of bottom).
On the logo...I'd like to see a more unique font and utilize one of the shades of green from the seal for the sub text OR if you leave the main text that simple then the sub text should be a script or styled font or vise versa.
Also, possibly introduce an earth toned color (orange, brown, blue, etc)

Some Ideas/Suggestions:

The seal will be displayed on member websites and will be 115 x 115, so please keep that in mind when choosing the font/effect.

The shape does not have to be the starburst/pointed edge shape int he example and band in the center does not have to be a ribbon. I just gave that image as an example. The shape could be a simple circle, or a scalloped edge etc.

The banner that says Certified Green does not have to be through the center, it can be diagonal across the top left.

To fill the empty area in the center circle, you could put a watermarked/light spiral.

neme12: I like the other seal better :o but I do like the third seal (second post) if you remove the certified green text and make the check bigger/bolder. I also like the second logo (second post)...it might look better with the sub text in blue and an italic and/or script font.

jboo14: hi ;) I like the first seal...but am looking for less neon/fluorescent color. Also, I'm not sure hte text will be readable at 115x115 and may need to re-align the top text

shadowmarketer: I like your style! You went with a unique shape...that is good. is it possible to make the outside band (that has the co name in it) wider so that the text can be bigger? I'd also like to see another color added (like the brown in the logo or other earth color)...maybe the outside circle , the banner, or the check. I like your logo...the color/effects are good but can you try a more unique looking font on the main text and a italic/script style font on the subtext?
