Any suggestions for making the $100 needed this month for Adsense before Christmas? My sites been on and off...some months ive gotten $xxx in revenue...other months it's down to $x.xx....
I've set up some pages like this: http://www.younghistorians.com/products/ and have been promoting them, but I don't think it's working too well.
Any suggestions?

Well, if you already have lots of traffic on the pages, (if you don't, that's the first step) then experiment with changing ad colors, moving the ads around, making them stand out more, making them blend in more etc... keep track of what works best with channels.
That's my advice, although I don't have any direct experience (I'm still trying to get traffic) :(

I wouldnt like to guess how many topics/posts you would you need for that? You would have to try and post as much as anthonycea.

It's all about topic. I released a site last month, it makes $xx a day already.

Yeah, don't post the actual site if you don't want to, but what subject matter was it about? I've heard it's all about the content...i.e. expensive things over smaller items. That's why I decided to try a product review site--alittle of everything.

for popular topic, you get lot of hits and lower EPC. for niche topic you get low traffic but higher EPC. Maybe I'd have said it's all about productivity :).
Topic is about money management.
Posting here would help with ranking but users here do not click on ads. do they? they just copy and paste, too scared to click their ads or someone else' Time to check my email

During Christmass I place some season pics, lots of twinkle stars at the front page only, and some bright red ads here and there. This demand two or three hours of extra work and in return I get a couple of additonal $$$ in my account. I also ask my newsletter subscribers to purchase some Amazon gifts (not to click AdSense ads of course) to help me with the site maintenance. It depends on site of course. I do this on a historical site that helps some 4000 students daily.
