I'm looking for a php directory script, preferably fee (although if my idea takes off I would obviously be willing to pay for extra functionality or donate)
All the scripts I have found to date have a number of problems. I'm looking for something that meets the following criteria
at least three categories in depth
"live" links to sites in directory
ease of management (directory tree)
SE friendly (I don't mind short query strings)
readily customisable
Ideas, suggestions folks?

This is the software I use for my directories (http://www.resalebroker.com/software/reciprocal-manager.inc).
It has everything I could want and more!

I use a very old version of wsnlinks from http://www.wsnlinks.com/
It was free but is now US$40 which is still well worth it.
They probably have demos available but feel free to prowl around my directory at http://www.pcpropertymanager.com/wsnlinks/ I have some stylesheet issues on the submit a category page and it's customised alot. The way I've put the header and footer in break their system but everything else is done their way.

Looks very cool. Have you had no problems with it?... it got an appalling review on Hotscripts for security issues

They do a basic version for free, it looks very interesting. More functionality than you can shake a stick at... I'll explore further, thanks
