New Forum Review

Hey folks. I just started my new forum http://www.cappersinsight.com/forums which is geared towards sports/handicapping. I'm looking for some honest reviews. Be blunt, an prick, or just a a$$. I don't care, just want some feedback so I can improve this forum. First impressions, why you would join this forum, or why wouldn't you join this forum?

i really like the skin. i wouldn't sign up simply because that's not my intersts. i would add a politics section also as that is a big topic for next year

Thanks hostacon. I kind of thought that people could talk politics in the general discussion or headline news. Still think I just need a section for politics?

Looks good overall. Would it be possible to put a sports news ticker or a score ticker at top? not to sure if this can be done... but thought it would go good with a forum like this.

I really like the style. The only problem I have is the Copyright in the footer looks all squeezed together. Maybe separate the paragraphs up a bit and if possible, shorten it.

topics are just too many for now, u can probably make sub categories and reduce the scrolling in the index.

I agree. I would recommend to scale down on the topics at this point. You can always introduce more topics in my opinion.

But looks good. I like the skin. Very easy on the eye.

To big of a range of topics, but the design looks good. It has a tech feel to it more than a sports feel, but thats fine. I think the biggest issue right now would be simply getting content in your sections. You could probably give a better appearance of more activity if as others have said, scale down the sections. :)
