Now this is really frustrating and I can't believe this happened. I opened an e-bullion account few days ago (as I was expecting a payment) but yesterday I tried to sign in to my account and got the following message
"your account has been disabled for security reasons , please contact ebullion blah blah blah"
I contacted them and the email I got them from is shocking:
Thank you for choosing e-Bullion. Unfortunately, at this time, we are not accepting account signups from Pakistan due to geopolitical issues surrounding the country of Pakistan, and ongoing issues with the United States. While e-Bullion does everything it can to remain independent of political issues, Pakistan account access within e-Bullion could pose potential problems for e-Bullion's treasury partners, and therefore our legal counsel has recommended against it. We will keep everyone posted as to when this policy looks to be reversed, but at this time, this is e-Bullion's official policy.
We apologize for any inconveniences that this may have caused.
Give me a break, geopolitical issues surrounding Pakistan, Bull Shit. War against terrorism huh.
