Is it a good idea to advertise Shared Hosting Services using YPN ?
If yes then can someone tell me how do i go ahead with it? Any vouchers, coupons etc etc ?

Well like Google AdSense, YPN is Yahoo's version for publishers to display ads and earn money. If you want to advertise in Yahoo's network you should go for Yahoo Search Marketing (http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com/).

It's probably the same good idea as to advertising at Google Adwords...

Both do have the same methods.. it's a PPC advertising campaign porgram and also do has the same methods, bidding per keyword.

Both also has the same approach to extend their reach other than just displaying ads in their search results, they invite publishers to display their ads in websites.
