I have a large free forumhost that is constantly getting spammed. I've tried a number of things, including capcha on registration, forcing javascript to be on, blocking ip's (even blocked turkey once). I'm still getting problems & am not sure what else to try. Any Ideas?

Did you use straight capcha? All slant and over variables to it. That'll help.
Though many spammers are now human (I'd guess working for peanuts) and they have to be manually pruned. Upgrade to something like vBulletin, and set up a promotion that will force people to post an introduction. Many human "bots" are too dim to figure out what forum the intro goes into.

It's a free forums host, with multiple sites, so vbulletin is out of the question & I can't really force the admins of the forums to make everyone do an introductions (I can suggest that to them though).
I think it is a straight simple capcha so I'll try to find one a little more complex.

I have used the following mod for all of mine.

it worked like a charm , its simple and all it did is to add a question to your registration page and that it. I dont even use any mroe capcha. i love it .
