View Full Version : 2008 = Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton for President
Dominic

The only good thing to come out of bush winning is hopefully he will screw up even worse domestically this term and pave the way for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton to take office in 2008.
Now that's something I'd like to see!
And since Pres. Clinton must still be addressed as 'President,' USA will have 2 pres. clintons in the white house at the same time!

I would like Dr.Phil for president, with General Wesley Clark as vice president.
I thinkl they would do great Dr.Phil is loved by millions, has a good head and are a great communicator. Clark is a US Army general, a true hero, and would be pulling the strings.

John Edwards is the future of the party, no doubt about it, you must carry the South to win in America, he is from the South and Southerners will vote for him.
He is a good man and will be a great leader. The guy is a lock, he is the man.

I'd think Obama would be a great candidate coming from the Dem's also.. He is very charismatic, intelligent, and seems to captivate most everyone he speaks in front of.
Hillary though? Come on...

Which is also why I'm embarrased to be a part of the american public. :(

Democrats make me embarrased to be part of the american public. The left is so out of touch with reality, it's sad. I have to say, that compared to the UK government system, you don't even know what left is...
Both of the candidates running this year were right wing.
Bush being the even righter wing candidate (Clearly).
It just seems to me, that no matter what you guys vote, it is always right wing.
You have no socialist opposition. (I'm not saying that I would vote socialist, but at least I have the option).

I agree. America never seems to get away from wanting the old white guy with lots of money and only a slight variation on ideals of what the current president has to be president, or stick with what we already have.
As soon as someone with a different idea comes up and says I want to run, the media shoots them down with words like non-electability or some other crap like that. Not to mention if the mass public hears the word liberal (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=liberal&r=67) they gasp like it's a word that the FCC should censor.

John Edwards will be the next President of the USA after the next 4 years of disaster, he will win in a landslide :)
The problem will be suffering through another 4 years with Bush/Cheney/Bush Senior..........

A personal injury lawyer (especially one who claims he can channel dead people) will never, ever be president of the US. And that is what John Edwards is. Lieberman is probably most moderate candidate the Dems have right now; but beyond that it's pretty shrill on that side of the aisle. Reps have a lot more choices in 08 than the dems do at current.
This map:
http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/vote2004/countymap.htm
(compare to 2000 for how much worse its gotten - especially along the mississippi and the south in general) shows the problems that the democrats have. Other than big cities, they have no support at all in the rest of the country.

Now you've got my shaking in my jack boots while goose steping down main street. The Dems are so out of touch, this election just proves it. Heck, here in Missouri, we have a Republican Governor now, finally. The Democrats have held that job since 1920. This election was as much about telling the Democrats to go take a flying leap as it was about anything else.

"We Democrats better think long and hard about what happened ... and how our party is going to connect with the hopes and aspirations of the people," Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., after watching Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle, D-S.D., an 18-year Senate veteran, go down in defeat. "We have lost the ability to connect with people's value systems and we're going to have to work to get that back."

Will, because Bush scared housewives and church goers and gun owners to vote for him, you think the same old bullshit Republican PR will continue to work?
Bush has no support outside of the Rednecks in this country Will, now don't get upset Will, you still have your guns, better get those terrorists when they knock on your door tomorrow Will.....
Should the nation really take this vote serious?
http://www.globalresearch.ca/articles/PAL411B.html
John Edwards is a better man than Bush or his Daddy.
The only slime balls around Will, are Republican Bigots like you who toe the Republican line no matter what, even approving of a nuclear war that you think you can survive.
Will, you need a shrink quick.....
Don't take this wrong Will, I really like you, I just don't like your crazy views.
Will, if you want to see a true great Southern man, look at the attached photo.
He was visiting the biggest Republican fraud and criminal ever, I am sure you would be proud of him just like you are of his Republican descendants in control now.
PS: Will, southerners voted for Bill Clinton, RIGHT? The joke is on you Will....

Make no mistake about it Will, I like you, I just think you need to wake up and find out that America is isolated, 70% of the voters of Europe would vote for Kerry.
They WILL NOT support us in IRAQ no matter what and we will lose that war Will.
So, with you promoting Republican ideas you will go down with them as the nations of the world laugh at us and watch us fail.
We do not have enough time, men or power to stand up against all the nations of the world, it is about time you and your side wake up before this country is completely destroyed and bankrupted by the Republican fanatics.
Will.Spencer
Nov 7th 2004, 12:48 pm
I don't give a rats ass about who the Euros would vote for.

On our news it said 35% of americans identify as evangelical christians and bush won that vote. Just another comentator's view... but are there really that many hand clappers over there (I call them hand clappers as you could fall asleep in a catholic church [where i go] and not be woken till it's over). Thats a pretty huge voting bloc.
Was wondering also, the us economy / debt to gdp ratio can't be in good shape at the moment with the war etc. Is this going to make the US a lot weaker economically, playing bush's game?
anthonycea
Nov 7th 2004, 1:56 pm
Your figures are way off, more like 70% of those Sunday folks in America are EC fanatics.
Were you saved brother?
Hell yes, the economy has been in decline since 2000, it will be in complete depression by the time Bush gets done with it.
The EURO is at an all time high versus the US Dollar and Gold is moving higher.
That means that investors have ZERO confidence in the USA, when a few banks collapse you will see the end of the Republican party in this nation and landslide Democratic victory in the next elections.
Americans in the end will vote on economic matters and it is a sure thing that the Republicans will bankrupt this nation.
We already have the largest deficit in the history of the nation and it will only grow in the next 4 years as we are looted by the war and oil mafia.

When the Bush Administration took over in January 200 they inherited a healthy SURPLUS, compliments of the CLINTON Administration. Here is what your great, current leaders have managed to do with it!!!!
The Outstanding Public Debt as of 08 Nov 2004 at 09:45:37 AM GMT is:
US$ 7,436,098,997,003.07
The estimated population of the United States is 294,742,422
so each citizen's share of this debt is $25,229.14.
The National Debt has continued to increase an average of $1.61 billion per day since September 30, 2003!
I think it is quite remarkable how you continue to support an administration that is spending YOUR money on an illegal war!
Happy paying that back USA !!!!!!!!!
Sorvoja
Nov 8th 2004, 2:11 am
Come on. The US can afford repaying the debt.
You forgot to include the bribes needed to get the support for the wars in the number above (favourable tradedeals and errasure of debt).
20-30 years from now you might have a positive balance. Buying a war is similar to buying a house.

I like Edwards but he couldnt even carry his own state. Hillary will be the next President of the US. What would be even nicer is if Bill was to run as her Vice President. That would make 2008 a lock and those two would win by the greatest margin ever in election history.
Edwards is young and I could honestly see Edwards running as Hillary's Vice President and then after her two terms as President Edwards running for President.
