Is it possible to obtain a Paypal(ebay) account without a credit card?..I think I did this once but I forgot the account..It seems that now u can't signup for ebay without a card.

Allot of exchange services now have paypal as one of their digital currencies so I don't see y the card is needed.

I think PP and ebay have suddenly gotten very strict about verifying accounts with CCs. I had a PP account for years and years and tried to "enhance" it by adding a VCC and they froze my account suspecting some kind of fraud. I called them twice today but they will not release my account unless I produce a credit card statement which I cannot do because its a one-time use VCC. So watch it..things can go bad if you don't know what you are doing.

You can have a paypal account without a credit card. Your withdrawal limit may be low or nonexistent unless you add a checking account.

unverified account is having some sending limit. If you have indian account then sending limit is just $100 while the verified account don't know any limits to it.

sagargemini..I believe a unverified account is when u haven't added a card number to the account..but as wormy said I dont think u can signup without a card anymore.

You can signup without any problem without having a bank account nor a cc added to the account. This works for almost any western european country like Germany, France etc.. Of course there exists limits then (750€ withdrawl limit and 1500$ sending limit for German accounts for example)
