Business Paypal: What to do (unauthorized transaction)

recently i have had around 5 people sending me funds with unauthorized payment meaning from stolen paypal.

my account is now -$800

it was digital items they purchased and recieved a download link to get upon paypal payment.

what should i do?

can those people sending me unauthorized funds screw up my paypal business + rep i have?

Damn! That´s too bad. There is no chance to get this resolved for you as there exists no seller protection for digital products. And PayPal seems to have refunded the money yet so in the end PayPal will get their money from you (in worst case with help of a lawyer). I had such an issue for 6000$, although these were no digital items. Sorry for this loss for you.

Why would someone send money to your paypal account?

Anyway, phone paypal; hopefully they will understand (if the person your talking to doesn't seem to understand, hang up and talk to someone else, this is a big deal, and you don't want some idiot not understanding and banning your account)

I doubt you stand any chance to get your money back. PayPal has reversed the transactions and now you must Pay , PayPal to get out of Negative balance. PayPal has very stupid policy against such chargebacks and even if you are legit you never win the dispute and end up losing money.

All I could say is to be careful next time.

Well said! I couldn´t have said it better. I lost 6000$, although what I sold were mobile phones (so trackable) and I provided tracking info (signed for recieving)

For immaterial things you should think about any solution to get them material (for example sell a script of some sides which you can send with mail for the price of your virtual good and give the virtual good as a bonus on tup to the script. You could do this for example on ebay but I think there also other auction houses for free). So you will have a bigger chance to get anything back as you have proof for delivery of the item the buyer purchased (the worthless script)

Well Everybody ATTENTION This is a well trained SCAM! And i am the victim!

He bought 4 world of warcraft gamecards from me with this unauthorized paypal id:

after he recieved the game cards he put a dispute on me! the 150$ of mine is temporary hold by paypal now! i think he claims someone stole his paypal and bought the gamecards from me !!!!!!
How he can pay me 150$ if he has -800$ ?? how he can recieve those payments if he s not verified ?

They say on their site that they don't offer protection for digital products for the seller but also for the buyer!
I had the same problem a few months ago. But I don't think there is something you can do.
There are always some people that after downloading will ask for their money back simply because they can!
