1. go there https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/ and register.
2. go there and download the tool: http://gsitecrawler.com/
3. run the tool and create a sitemap
4. submit to google
Benefits are that your content will be better indexed on google and that you will have more users from Google search results.

this method sucks, it requires you to use the crappy vbSEO plugin.

A good idea can be to use a site crawler or link validator like XENU Link Sleuth, and get the URLs from the report for a sitemap.

I guess there should be a plug-in for google sitemaps, not vbSEO, independent plug-in.

How many times have you used it? Have your search results gone up?

I use it since some months and indexed pages went up really nice. And I get more users from google SERPs. But it took a lot of time, its not something that changes from one day to the other. But gsitecrawler is a really nice tool, you can tell the crawler which sites to index and which not, you can take out double content and you find dead links. For large sites like forums clearly the best tool.

Benefits of sitemap
-------------------
Sitemap feature will help you to track your data and will give your report about the content, links, keywords etc. It also helps you to get all your pages cached fast in major search engines.
Have a nice time !!

It seems that the site is down or gone. Maybe this was the best tool after all, but the amount of bandwidth used due to everyone wanting to use it maid it possibly go bankrupted. Whooops, lol

You say "The best thing for the normal user"
Is there something better for pro users?
Not that I'm pro but I'd like to learn to be better
