If you put your website in signature then it will create backlink.
But i am confused if you post 10 posts in different or same thread then it would be counted as 10 backlinks from same site ?

I think the first backlink from a domain is important, after that their either not as important or doesn't count.

As mdvaldosta has said, one-10 first links of a domain are good. More doesn't help you more. Is like Google counts up to 10 for example and them ignore the others.

I am not clear.
It means only 10(say) times link from same domain is valuable and more than that is rubbish ?

It means only PRd backlinks are counted and PR0 backlink has no value?

What is PR0 today will have higher PR tomorrow and will be worth a link to your site then...

Maybe google counts 1st link as 1 point, 2nd 1/2 point, 3rd 1/4 point, 4rd 1/8 point etc. Each link good but the first most important. This seems to be logical for me...

...unfortunatelly I don't know if it seems to be logicall for google guys :)

Yep...these threads are mainly good when you want good rankings on MSN, which is pretty easy :) and sometimes Yahoo!
