Is there a way for me to display the rss feed on my site? Or is there a way to show if a rss feed has been updated? Thanks.

Some RSS feeds will supply an update interval and you can set your RSS reader to that interval. Thus you cache the feed locally once each time the feed updates.

If you can't get an interval, you should at least try and cache for a little while rather then hitting the feed in real time for each of your page hits.

Carp RSS is a free and easy to use RSS feed aggregator with caching.
