I have plenty of content in my website that resides in a database and I have a page (i.e. index.php) that based from the passed parameters (i.e. index.php?articleID=101) will connect to my database and display the result. Will the Search Engine Script work in a database driven website such as mine?

Yeah... as long as Google knows about the content.

Have the tags in the db
It's tedious but it works and helps to have the tags in the db.
I've added the title and m-tags as well as a link text as db fields to content thus when a page is dynamically generated it has it's own tags.
If there is no entry in the tags it uses defaults and sends me a message.
I've also generated a site map that dynamically populates the above page links and uses the link text to embed the anchor.
Works for both visitors and SE's.

PS I use a maximum of to vars to identify a page.
PPS Example is http://departures-arrivals.com/uk-airport-information.htm
