Hi guys,
I've just registered AdBrite as an alternative for Adsense
and what I am receiveing after 2 days is only one basic ad that link back to AdBrite...
why can't network ads show on my site???
have a look here: http://freeproxytool.com
and, any comments about Adbrite?
thanks,

It could be that nobody has chosen to advertise on your site...You can let adbrite assign sites that advertise if you want.

I maybe wrong, but I dont think adbrite can be used alongside google, Adbrite are fine with it, but google dislike it. Also, have you entered the keywords in the management area for your ads to show ?

i was getting good amount of ads to fill spaces, but since changes have been made on adbrites end, less ads show. Check what rank you have for the types of ads you will allow to fill spaces i.e. adult level or not.

Just a few points

I believe that you are allowed to use AdBrite as a AdSense alternative, so long as you disable AdBrite network ads.

It does not appear you are coding AdBrite to be an alternative for AdSense. Rather it looks like AdBrite is the primary ad.

If you are using AdBrite network ads and AdSense on the same Webpage, then you are violating the AdSense TOS.

You should send the Adsense team [adsense-support@google.com (mailto:adsense-support@google.com)] an email to validate my points.

False. you cannot use Adsense in conjunction with other contextual advertisements. AdBrite is both contextual and not contextual.

If you don't have generic ads on your site by default, that is not contextual.

AdBrite offers both settings.

Whats the general opinion on using Adbrite for paid advertising for your own site instead of using it as a revenue scheme - any one had any experiences good or bad??

I advertised using the intermission ad. I spent like $5 and made like $.75 on the page I sent the visitors to.

u cant see ur adbrite ads becoz they advertiser put the ads on ur site for targetted counrties and ur country are not included in the advertiser targetted section so thtz why . so best option is to always accept those ads which is non targetted even its pay u 0.4 /ppc because many of ur visitors may be from untaregetted country so they will see atleast the non targetted advertise once.

Adbrite isn't bad, if you actually get over the network ads and into requested ads, the network ads are pretty unproductive in my experience, but once you get non-network ads to approve and accept the one's that you think are right for your visitors the money can be quite decent.
