$50 Logo Contest Ends Friday 12am EST

Hi

I am after a logo for my marketing company, "Check PR", the slogan is "Good PR Brings Good Business" or you can choose your own. The logo has to look sleek and eye-catchy with a corporate look. I will let you use your creativity for the design.

The logo will be used on business cards, letterheads, flyers, t-shirts and on the website so make it look catchy. Make sure that the "PR" stands out too.

The contest ends on Friday 24th at 12am EST and the winner will get $50 via PayPal or your chosen method.

Feedback will be given for each design.

Hi Hecky, my feedback as follows for the "Check PR" logo.

The "PR" has to be seperate from "Check". It looks too basic and not really a corporate logo but rather a template design. The logo has to look catchy as its a marketing company. The text looks too plain, and far to basic for a marketing company.

Hi Knoneil, the website is still under development, however the company specialises in marketing management, internet real estate (expired domains), and website development. The logo has to be professional, eye-catchy with a corporate look. The website address is "checkpr dot co dot uk", if you could put the website address in the logo design, however that is optional.

Keili – The updated version has no meaning to a marketing company, please remember it has to look corporate and professional. The logo will be used on business cards, t-shirts, letterheads etc…

Speno: This design looks far too basic for a logo, it has to have graphics and stand out from the crowd. Think outside the box! Make the logo eye-catchy. I recommend you do some homework and look at some other winning designs on Digital Point.

ektz: The Logo looks copied from “Regular Link” as stated by “Speno”. I do not like the design as you have used very little creativity. I understand it may be from a library of your collections but look at other winning designs and make it stand out! I repeat that the logo has to get the message across. It has to be a design that everyone would want to wear if on a t-shirt… Use your graphic skills and make it unique.

Kia_Ora: The Logo does not look corporate or professional. Make it unique for a marketing company. Read what I have said for others to get more of an idea what I require.

Speno: Nice logo, but one colour scheme and no domain there. The domains is CheckPR dot co dot uk. You need more graphics, please remember that the logo will be used on a t-shirt and on all promotional products so do you think it will get attention from the public?

Make the Logo more graphical, what would you expect a marketing company to have? Make it eye-catchy and make sure it stands out from the crowd if the t-shirt was worn in a big crowd. Use your imagination and your own font that you feel is best.

Well it's not really a logo, it's three stock photos positioned beside each other with 3 different fonts/colours on top of them.

A logo needs to be a symbol and text which complement each other and also represent the company. It generally should look stylish, and make the company look trustworthy.

If you look at a lot of winning entries on the contests here on DP, you can study them and the techniques used and this will help you realise what contest holders expect in a logo.

Like people said already, your entries are more like banners or headers than logos.
