OK, this is their statement in a mail to a guy in some other forum who contacted them directly...

JetEye is a next generation search platform. As
we are still in pre alpha we are not allowing public demos at this time,
however we are in the process of building our index. We would be most happy
to keep you updated as to our progress and our launch.

We will be doing a soft launch targeted for October 15. We sincerely hope
you will allow us to continue indexing and look forward to introducing
JetEye very soon.

thanks lever mhhhh ok I monitor them and give them a bit bandwidth...
why these people under pre alpha or whatnot can't restrict it to 10 bots max per site I don't know....

just don't like these bots all crawling at once ... if ever G Y M and couple of others do it at the same time I may well run out of db connectivity.....

I saw the same problem in my logs they were hiutting my site really hard and I was a little concerned as to what they were. Personally I wasnt able to find anything out about them, but I will watch to see if they produce something.

Thank you for your message. JetEye is a next generation search platform. As

to keep you updated as to our progress and our launch.
We will accept site-submissions after we launch.

We are currently letting our spiders operate independently, not running them

through a single proxy server, so you will see many IP addresses
representing each machine of our spider array.
We are currently in the middle of a Friends & Family soft launch and QA

process. We sincerely hope you will allow us to continue indexing and look
forward to introducing JetEye to the public this month.

These jeteye spiders are on my site all day all night. I've got five (5) crawling my forum right now.

well at least someone visits...http://forums.digitalpoint.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

they may have changed it a bit as I've seen up to 30 just from them, now it's down to 3-6

Obviously I don't mind crawling it's just when they come all at once.....

It's two (2) hours later and they are still on my forum. Now there are seven (7).

I don't really mind I just wonder why they hang around so long.
