Hi

I have seen a lot of Tips and useful PR guides in this forums. Some thing that I always check it's the person's site who is giving aways tips about how to get PR . So far I see a lot of guys who are trying to help us to improve PR who don't have hight ranking sites themselves. My question is if you know how to improve PR why don't you have the high ranking site yourself? Correct me if I am wrong you should be good master if you want to teach some one else. So I would like to see some tips from webmaster who have succeed the ranking task. Please post it here.

You are looking at the sites in the signatures I assume. Not all webmasters put their primary sites in their signatures here. As such, you may be looking at sites they are working on/promoting.

I for one would not consider listing any of my primary sites on a webmaster forum (signature-wise). Simply put, there are too many Copy-Cat webmasters simply here to see what they can copy/steal. There has been more than a few threads on DP where entire concepts/content has been stolen and the site was in the original owner's signature.

Well I have only been in the business for a year but I have mastered a lot of stuff and written quite a few guides for people.

Getting PR is difficult but showing how to get it is not. So it's easier said then done.

Although getting high PR isn't that difficult if you have a good budget of $$$. Buy about a few 5-7 PR7 homepage relevant links and you'll have a PR6 most likely on the next update.

Also as claudek said there are stealing people here on DP as well and if you have a nice site such as namepros, v7n, shoemoney, etc. I can imagine myself getting spammed with PM's here and there and some people don't want that.

Same with most celebrities, fame is good, but not all the time.

In this case I feel link what you suggest here might be a tactics of fooling the competitors. I think sharing the acknowledge will create more creativity for the future growing technology. I've attempted to but have basically given up, why post things to help people when some idiot argues your wrong despite being ranked top 5 for things like "SEO Company" and about 5,000 other competative page one terms?

I've been doing this since late 90s and can earn alot of money consulting and doing SEO, why would i want to help when people dont know where the green rep button is, argue your wrong and cop bullshit infractions thats splitting hairs.

I just dont see any reason.

I used to work for the BBC Websteam, so *technically* I could have had a PR9 site.

Wish I hid some links in there now :S

While I a new to this forum. I have already learned several new things in the area of general approaches, perhaps, more than in particular details. I appreciate that.

For example, while I have two active blogs, I did not realize how much emphasis I should be placing on them. I will soon have more blogs to match my content websites, thanks in part to what I have read here.

Still I understand the need to keep somethings "secret" as one's hard won experience does have value. Yet I am encouraged by the sharing I have seen and encourage all to continue to give what insights that feel comfortable providing. I have hopes that what I toss in here from time to time will be of value to others.

In other words, keep up the good work and thanks. :o
