I thought google was more expensive. More people using it so higher contention for keywords. Thus you have to pay more per click. I've heard its more effective though.

Google is chepaer, and you get more exposure. Yahoo has less no. of publishers and their ads are in huge sites.

Yes. It`s try that Google AdWord is cheaper and more efective that Yahoo`s PPC. Before a month I start to advert site in my signature using same keywords and budget in Google and Yahoo. At the end of adverting I have 5 sales from Google and 1 from Yahoo.

with regards to google it really does depend on the keywords that you want to create a campaign for

one good thing with google over yahoo - is that CTR is also a factor in your ads ranking. with yahoo it is a simple bidding war

yahoo adwords tends to be cheaper from my experience. For some keywords that use big city names(such as LA),keywords can cost up to $6 per click in Google!!
I've never seen anything over $2 for Yahoo.
At the same time, I get more traffic from Google.
I love Yahoo's customer service though. It's much better than Google's

I beleive google is more cheaper and more effective then yahoo. i have tried both programs and yeilded the best results with google.
