I find that very easy to believe and I have predicted that for awhile!!
Google should hang on to this thought:
GREED will inprison us all!!
That was a good read!!

Even more surprising is AOL's customer satisfaction number of 67. I've never known anyone who was satisfied with AOL.

You may want to actually read what the thread is about before making unrelated comments.
Seriously, it is not hard, just read the first post and the link provided - see not hard at all.

I am a big fan of Google, and although they are now the guys to beat, I think they are doing a great job. I must admit though, sometimes Google is just too thorough with their results turning up many listings that are not really user friendly...this is where Yahoo is beating them out in my opinion.

They may beat them on the basis that they ahve a portal where people browze. But when it comes to searc, people are still going to keep using gogole.

The points, 78 and 79, are very close, so I don't think Yahoo! has won that convincingly.....

I think the vast majority of us have felt google slipping for a while, however, once you are at the top there isn't really anywhere to go but down...I'm sure Google will get it together.

Yahoo! might have more points than Google but in my opinion, Google is still better than Yahoo! and it's the first thing that comes to ur mind when you want to search something!

I was just as astonished when I saw Yahoo was higher than Google on Alexa. I converted a long time ago and I am not giving up on Google.

Google is the only search engine that offers page rank friend.
The others do not have it anymore or never did. Yahoo did some time ago though. I wish they would bring it back.

If you had bothered reading the article mentioned in the original post, your answer would have been given. Try to do something simple like that before posting. It really does help.

Search rankings are not directly related to the Page Rank. Do some research.
I wonder how many of the participants got paid by Yahoo. :D

I'm with Google since I first got a computer LOL! I used Yahoo mail a couple times, but Gmail is definitely the best for me.
However, their answers service (http://answers.yahoo.com) is really a nice thing :). This is what probably ups their consumer rating.

Personally, I can't stand yahoo, for the simple fact that Google is a simple search engine.
Meanwhile, on yahoo, they have the whole community going on.
I prefer google, because I just search.
It's alot easier to use. :)

I assume you've never seen http://search.yahoo.com/ then?
Also, nothing wrong with communities. MySpace , Facebook etc...

Interesting read, eventhough it was still pretty close. The area of concern is that Google has "consecutively declined".

Hi YahooPete,
If you are a legit yahoo rep, how about an update on YPN getting out of its multi-year never ending beta?

Google is always updating page rank within their own system. They just don't publicly publish a websites page rank for the public very often.
A website with a PR-0 to the public could be a pr 6 in google's system and they just haven't updated it for the public yet.

I agree wholeheartedly.
Just because the noobs think Google's the best thing since sliced bread doesn't make it so.
For some things, mainly volume, Google is king. But depending on the market, and what you are looking to accomplish you can get better results in Yahoo/MSN. Anyone with some SEO, and online sales sense knows this.
It always annoys me when I see these blanket statements of love for Google with nothing to back it up but opinion.

I am a fan of Google.
With my second attempts, I failed to receive the verification email for my Adsense account. Few hundred dollars are now stacked in my adsense account. I am waiting to receive the email with verification code for several months. I am planning to request again to resend the mail for third time after few days.
How can I be satisfied?

I think it depends on the location where the study held. If more respondents came from a certain location that they prefer yahoo, then of course yahoo will lead. Maybe this report is due to some issues that google faces today..
