Im with Hostgator, but i dont want to "recommend" any particular host, the reason being is that anytime i begin to "big up" a company or an individual too much it always backfires on me and that so called greatness turns sour.:)

So far im content with Hostgator.

I have a shared hosting at servage and a server at softlayer.com

I would say they are the best in this market.(Softlayer)

Go with any of these(softlayer, theplanet(Hostgator is hosted there),liquidweb, rackspace, serverbeach)

I'm with www.knownhost.com and they're great! My sites load very fast and I've been stumbled and never had any problem with being offline, their server handled it well.

Not sure if you meant for "Dedicated Server" or just Hosting ...

I have been with 5 hosts so far but I will recommend to go with HostingZoom or Downtownhost.com

Both are just Superb. :)

i was just meaning a regular host..i like mine but there have been 2 technical issues in the last 3 months causing my sites to go down..i know not all servers can have 100% uptime per se,but it bugs me

my Personal Blog site is hosted on NETHOSTONE.net and all my other sites including directories and advertising blogs are hosted on a dedicated server:P

EDIT: Site hosted with NETHOSTONE gets stucked at times and doesn't opens at times in other parts of my country:( (so avoid this host:P)

I can only encourage you to check out zone.net,

My website receives between 9,000 and 12,500 unique pageviews a day and
I am now at zone.net (http://control.zone.net/aff.php?aff=009) and their VPS hosting is awesome,
not only the speed the my pages now load with, but also the custom support that helped me out with the domain transfer and setting up the VPS.

I got the VM-200 Virtual Enterprise Server that comes with 768MB memory, 25GB space and 400GB traffic a month. The server specs are as following:

Plesk version psa v8.1.1_build81070423.15 os_FedoraCore 5
Operating system Linux 2.6.9-023stab044.4-enterprise
CPU GenuineIntel, Intel(R) Xeon(R)CPU E5345 @ 2.33GHz

It is a bit pricey at 65$ a month, but one of their service staff members gave the following promo-code to me:

It is FIFTEENOFF (http://control.zone.net/aff.php?aff=009) and deducts 15% of every monthly amount-payable, leaving this server beast at 55$ a month, which is financially sustainable as long as my dear users continue to click those ads that make sense to them.

In contrast to Liquidweb the package I have at zone.net has 256MB more ram at a lower price.
Also they have five datacenters to choose from within the United States in contrast to two at LW.

I recently got to know while trying to sort out my German .de domains, that they run a special promotions campaign this summer. They got some cool new special deals this summer.
Just drop a line if you want to know more.
