keywords & marketing ideas for a new car dealership

hi all,

kinda stumped on this one, i may possibly have to seo for a new car dealership. being what it is, it's localized... very regional. even statewide would be a little too much.

they have 6 or 7 differernt franchises... "ford, jeep" etc....

any ideas on keywords and phrases?

car dealer 'state'
'make' care dealer 'state'

or

car dealer 'major city' etc....

seems very weak to me... and these numbers are all under 40 searches a day. and if i go to broad, we waste clicks... picture west coast surfers finding an east coast dealer.

its not about number of clicks; its about quality of clicks.

If it was in tampa, I'd do "honda dealer tampa"
then make a page for toyota "toyota dealer tampa"

etc etc and make pages for each brand of toyota that is stocked too. you really only want traffic from people who are going to have the chance of buying something anyways right?

in this case i agree, but in general if you fail to get enough clicks because the #'s are so low, quality or not you can't run a business like that.

i'm looking for terms outside of the rather obvious "honda dealer tampa"
