Does anyone have info on how to get a gmail account back that someone else hacked and deleted?

Thanks.

Sure, I call it the 'sign-up (http://mail.google.com/mail/signup)' button! :D

Yeah, but the problem is that I want him to get back the same gmail name so that the emails coming in get forwarded to his new address.

Just submit a gmail reinclusion request. You have to promise to stop using MSN and Yahoo though.

lol no, he's also here on DP and the hacker hacked his DP account as well. and on gmail they don't let you open an account in the same name they say here:
https://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=50220

If Gmail service has been deleted from your Google Account, it can't be re-enabled and the username can't be reused. This means that it's not possible to access or forward the contents of the account.

Its time to buy a domain and start backing up your own email.
