$10 Logo Contest

I'm looking for a nice web2.0 logo for my new site http://chooseaproxy.com/
I would like it if you keep the same background color that already exists but the text and logo color can change. I'll keep the contest open for a few days and winner will be paid via paypal.

Vortex Web Studios: Not bad at all, looks a little granulated to me though, and im not digging the opacity over the word "Proxy"

Uh to xxsAm, I don't think he wanted his work judged in the contest because the many people on here that rip designs of other contestants. A rather common and growing problem on this forum. Ya'll see the users who are now going after Coolwanz designs? haha. A bunch of BS. Anyway, so that would make more sense than what you came up. And to simplyg123 and piggy, that doesn't make any sense either; don't want to get caught so hide the name? Come on, let's be realistic. Because if a design is ripped all it takes is to show proof to the CH who I'm sure that after shown proof wouldn't mind calling out the name of the person that made the logo (that's with any contest). So much for keepin their name hidden, wouldn't you say. It's too easy to blow one's identity. Think people, think!!! Besides I just realized you can check the iTrader feedback to see who did the design. I noticed the link links back to the thread here.

Anyway, hats off to the winner.

True I didn't think about itrader. Anyway the seller seemed completely legit to me and even had a panel where i went in and paid and it automatically gave me access to download the logo. However I'm sure theres no way to tell whether the work is ripped off unless someone else has seen the design before.

Apparently all this coming from someone with 11 post, i don't see how you could know this forum so well, unless of course you have multiple accounts which we all know is against the rules. And history here at DP has prov en that 90% of the ripped logos have been caught by other contestants, not the CH. Someones chances of getting away with a stolen design are far greater if they pm it for only the contest holder to see. Until its paid for his eyes will be the only eyes discerning whether or not the logo is legit. And if that doesn't make since to you, I don't know what else to say.

Simplyg123... How I can know this forum so well is simple ---- I READ! The information is readily AVAILABLE for members AND non-members to read at their leisure. I browse the forum reading from thread to thread. I'm more of a browser than someone who actually participates in conversations. The exact reason why I have such a small post count. Anyone who visits DP forums or forums in general where threads aren't made private, can read and gather information. So who cares I only have 11 (12 counting this post). What the does that have to do with mere observation, comprehension, and intelligence?! What, you think you're in college and I'm in preschool just because of my POST COUNT compared to yours?! DUDE you are so off the mark it's pathetic. Get a grip on reality. Post count doesn't mount to anything. Really. Especially with people selling their accounts on forums regardless of the TOS and if they'll do it on other forums why wouldn't they sell their accounts here too. So to h*** with the post count theory you have. That's pure garbage. [B]Yes, all of this coming from someone who SIMPLY OBSERVES the behavior of people. You learn more by just watching. Try it sometimes. If the contest holders think a design is a rip, there are ways to find out. But look at the logo that won the contest... is it a rip?! Then do as my avatar says! I don't know who the winner is to congratulate them or i would, i am usually one of the first ones to congratulate anyone on a win, i just feel the process of this one was a little strange, and i believe many would agree. as far as your two cents you can put it back in your pocket, i never said anything insulting to you, i just questioned your expertise on the matter, due to your low post count, which is admittedly an assumption, but it is definitely a reasonable one. If i am wrong i apologize. But you don't have to stoop to the childish insults. If my son had told me to shut up i would bend him over my knee. So if you wish to be respected by people around here i would suggest you show some, and not because my post count is high, but because we are all human beings.
