$40 - simple iPhone-themed Wordpress template (can be based on any existing template)

Hi all,

I need a simple iPhone-themed template for Wordpress. You can use any existing template out there as base and edit it to look suitable for an iPhone blog, as long as it doesn't break copyright of course.

Here's an example - http://www.freeiphone.ca/free-iphone-blog/ , simple and based on an existing skin...

Note: I want full copyright rights for the template. You can leave a backink to your own site in the footer, I won't remove it.

$40 will be paid via Paypal, this contest will stop once I see something I like.

nobody can give you full copyrights to a theme they hack to change the design. $40 seems fine though.

Well, at least exclusive distribution rights.... Basically a guarantee that whoever makes this template will not release it on himself or use it in any way (includes building other templates on this template mod, etc...).

Check this out, this is not for ME personally. I am very satisfied with the current design of my site iphoneworld.ca, and do not intend to change it.

However... I want this template made, so I could add a link to iPhoneWorld.ca in the footer. Then I intend to release it through my site as a free download for whoever wants to use it on his wordpress blog. The only point in this thing for me is link building.
That's why I've mentioned that whoever designs it can put his link in the footer, and I will not modify it -- you will have a very nice PR jump if it will go as planned :))))

Same way, if there's a link to the original skin creator's site (whose skin you're modding) obviously it has to stay there if that's required by license. However, if the original template is a paid one or can't be modified according to its author, plz don't use it.

So yeah, basically, that's what I want... Exclusive distribution for the skin through my website, no modifications or source code for it released, and no copyright issues...

Not bad at all... Maybe a bigger (wider) header and some slight colors adjustment?

I thought maybe different colors for the news titles... For example light blue titles (for exact color see iPhone's interface pictures -- sorry, I'm really bad with color #'s :( )... Right now it's white titles/white text, and it really needs a bit more color I think... otherwise I like it.

Also hrm... I was thinking about the header image -- it would be much better if "iphone blog" writing wasn't there at all, and optimally the site could fetch wordpress blog's name and display that on top of the header background instead of static writing on the site (really, only if that's possible, otherwise just blank header image so folks would be able to add their own writing).

....well, that and wider header as I mentioned before (that could allow sites to set up a small banner inside the header, thus increasing the possibility of the skin staying there :P).

No, I want a simple mod of any existing template... .css/images modification, which counts as design in my books :) I'm not asking to code a template from scratch, just add some images and adjust color schemes on any template with no copyright issues, etc, hope this clarifies it =)

It's a shame that freeiphone.ca felt the need to violate the copyright on the template he's using. I guess a free quality iPhone wordpress template (http://www.everythingiphone.com/news/everything-iphone/iphone-wordpress-template-released-20070404122/) isn't good enough that the person has to remove the copyright and designers link. Amazing. Simply amazing.:mad:
