logo design contest

If you are not a drummer and are not interested in those prizes, if you win I will instead transfer $30 (USD) to you via paypal.

On a side note, which site is the best to sell t-shirts / stickers / other swag through? I really only know of cafepress, and their prices seem a bit high.

EDIT: Moka, 1st rule of gfx design. "Cpy/Paste is free..." Put a "SAMPLE" across it or something. =P

I plan to design and sell the t-shirts through a website like cafepress. I will never actually have or touch the merchandise I am selling - that's how cafepress works, right???

I should have specified this more clearly in the original post. The website is targeting towards marching snare drum, NOT drumset. Here is an example image of a marching snare:

Also, if you use an image of a snare drum, it probably shouldn't include the brand name (like the above image).

Lol yeah, I was thinking about PM'ing Moka and telling him/her that that drumset doesn't really fit the site. I play snares myself, so I lol'ed. If you don't want animation, just tell me, cuz I'd prefer it in .png anyways because .gif messes up the color/quality a bit.

Congrats to Tim (not sure what his DP name is). I went with this logo because of the simplicity and impact of the lettering.
