I have a page up on my website explaining the contest: logo design contest (http://www.snarescience.com/logodesign.html)

If you are not a drummer and are not interested in those prizes, if you win I will instead transfer $30 (USD) to you via paypal.

On a side note, which site is the best to sell t-shirts / stickers / other swag through? I really only know of cafepress, and their prices seem a bit high.

Thanks,
Ryan

Are you saying that you have t-shirts, and those others to sell, or that you need to buy them?

And I'll start right not on a design.

EDIT: Moka, 1st rule of gfx design. "Cpy/Paste is free..." Put a "SAMPLE" across it or something. =P

I plan to design and sell the t-shirts through a website like cafepress. I will never actually have or touch the merchandise I am selling - that's how cafepress works, right???

I should have specified this more clearly in the original post. The website is targeting towards marching snare drum, NOT drumset. Here is an example image of a marching snare:

http://www.yamaha-europe.com/picture_archiv/products/10_Musical_instruments/Orchestra/marching_drums/MS_9214B_low_jpg.jpg

Also, if you use an image of a snare drum, it probably shouldn't include the brand name (like the above image).

I apologize to those who have already submitted logos with drumset images. Thanks for your entries!

Lol yeah, I was thinking about PM'ing Moka and telling him/her that that drumset doesn't really fit the site. I play snares myself, so I lol'ed. I'm searching for the perfect image, because I'm almost done with my logo. I just can't seem to find one that I love!!! And you don't appear online, on my buddylist. Add me: OmFG Piggy

Thanks!

BTW, does it have to be through imageshack? My computer hates imageshack... it always fails to upload.

If you don't want animation, just tell me, cuz I'd prefer it in .png anyways because .gif messes up the color/quality a bit.

Congrats to Tim (not sure what his DP name is). I went with this logo because of the simplicity and impact of the lettering.
