How to increase Adsense revenue?

Hi,

would anyone have any particular tips on how to increase the Adsense revenue on CityPics (see signature please)? It gets about 100 visitors a day but doesnt even make 10 cents a day. Did I simply miss anything important?

Are the visitors being linked directly to the image or via the site? This could be partly why you're not getting any clicks/impressions.

The placement looks fine on the image pages. I'd just recommend you add another ad unit on the homepage, placing it towards the middle. While it may look a little ugly, it'll definitely increase ad visibility and you should start seeing some clicks.

I suggest make a horizontal banner ad just below

"It appears you have not yet registered your CityPics account.
Click here to register now."

This will get u sufficient links so as to get u a good eCPM and then u can remove the ad... hope this helps :)

Visitors come via the site.

I guess you mean placing a banner in the middle of the entry site, right?

Do you mean something like Ponynugget mentioned? So instead of the link unit currently above the text a regular banner below it?

try to put your ads on the tops of your post. Ads on the top are easily seen by visitors and have a big chance that they will click this.
