Yahoo email validation problem

I am trying for a week to validate my new email in yahoo groups settings but no luck.Any ideas what is going on?

give us a clue as to what error message you get please

No error message.I just don't receive the email.(I have tried this with another email account I have so that I can be sure that it is not my fault).
