I am just wondering how this members page could possibly have a pr of 8. I find that very unlikely, and I have not found my links from facebook to be recorded by Google or yahoo.

Since facebook isn't accessible if you're not logged in, I find it highly unlikely that google crawls the profiles.

Yes, I was wrong: there are public profiles out there, but the majority isn't. See: http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/014283.html
Facebook is far less publicly accessible than myspace, probably one of the reasons why parents like it more.
So to the OP: depends if the profile is actually indexed in google - but if it is, and it has PR8, it likely does - if the link is on the public profile. But the profile that's shown to people who aren't logged in (like google is likely to be), doesn't seem to show external links: For instance: http://www.facebook.com/p/Dave_Tompkins/21008544 doesn't have external links. That was one of the highest ranking profiles in a facebook.com search and it only has pr3 - so I don't think it's likely that any profile has PR8.

No they don't pass PR because you have to login first ;)
